Portland and Bar Harbor

Portland and Bar Harbor offer a perfect mix of coastal history and quirky charm, with historic landmarks, guided harbor tours, and plenty of unique local shops to explore. Add in standout breweries and waterfront spots, and it’s an engaging, relaxed way to experience Maine’s culture and scenery.

Itinerary Overview

Each itinerary includes flights with American Airlines. You’ll all meet up with the Delaware group in Philadelphia and fly to Portland together. After your week in Maine, everyone will return together on the same flight back to Philadelphia (on a smaller aircraft).

In Portland, you’ll have three lodging options to choose from: two hotels or one vacation rental. In Bar Harbor, hotel and inn rates were quite high, so a vacation rental is currently the most cost-effective option. If you would prefer an inn instead, options such as the Bar Harbor Inn or Fig Inn can certainly be explored.

Bangor is also an option for lodging; however, it is over an hour’s drive from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

Please note: all prices are subject to change and are not confirmed until reservations are made.
